This privacy policy defines the exposure to personal and non-personal data practised by the Arbeitskreis Vorratsdatenspeicherung.

Websites

General

Within your visit on our website, we store data anonymously about using our pages with regard to evaluate them statistically.

Following data will be logged:

• URL of the visited pages
• date and time of the visit

Following data will not be logged:

• IP-Adress of the visitor
• the referring site
• Information about your system (Browser usw.)

This holds for the portal www.vorratsdatenspeicherung.de, the Wiki and the portal freiheitsredner. It is not yet clear if this holds for the portal http://briefe.gegen.daten.speicherung.eu/.

Excerpt from the error.log:

[Sat Aug 04 10:06:32 2007] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] File does not exist: /htdocs The operator of the server ak-vds.de log the IP-Adressen of its visitors. The logs are deleted after a couple of weeks.

Portal

We use a software called Joomla for the supply of our portal. Once you choose a language, a session cookie containing your chosen language is stored on your computer. These cookies are not logged somewhere else.

Wiki

We will log neither your userID nor your IP-address when you edit pages in our Wiki. The contents you enter will be stored in the version history, though, and cannot be deleted even by later changes. If you open a user account with the Wiki, it cannot be deleted, although the data can be changed.

The Wikimedia software uses cookies when you edit articles. These cookies are stored on your computer and are not logged with us.

contact form

If you send us a message via the contact form, only the information entered by you will be submitted, nothing else. For example

• your IP-address
• information about your computer (browser etc.)

will not be submitted.

Your information will be submitted to seven members of the Arbeitskreis Vorratsdatenspeicherung who deal with questions.

E-Mails

Emails sent to the addresses given on the contact page will be sent to seven members of the Arbeitskreis Vorratsdatenspeicherung who deal with questions.

Mailing lists

We do not create a central archive of our mailing lists. The mail server logs, who sent whom an email when, including the IP-address of the users. These data is deleted every 2-3 weeks.

Actions

Constitutional Complaint

When you register for participation in the constitutional complaint, only the data submitted by you will be stored. Your data will only be used for the complaint, they will be neither stored or used for other purposes nor given to third parties. If you agree, we add your name and place of living to the list of complainants in the internet. We use a robots.txt file to prevent search engines from scanning this list.

Written forms of participation will be entered into the online registration form by us and then forwarded to barrister Starostik. Procurations received by barrister Starostik will be subject to obligation of secrecy.

SPD, CDU, CSU campaign

When you register for participation at the SPD, CDU, CSU campaign only the data submitted by you will be stored. Your data will only be used for the campaign, they will be neither stored or used for other purposes nor given to third parties. Your name and place of living will be added to the list of signees in the internet.

Letters to delegates

When you write a letter to the delegates, only the data submitted by you will be stored and submitted. Your data will only be used for the campaign, they will be neither stored or used for other purposes nor given to third parties. Your letter will be anonymized and published in the internet. After examining if it complies with our terms of use we will release it to be sent to the delegates of SPD, CDU and CSU.
