Class-action law suit against data retention
Currently, the Federal Ministry of Justice promotes a bill to implement data retention in Germany. In case of enacting this law, we are going to make use of a constitutional complaint, because the enforcement of complete storage of traffic data would offend against secrecy of telecommunications and the basic right of informational self-determination.

Campaign: Members and chapter of SPD, CDU, CSU against data retention
In 2005, all parties represented in the German parliament refused data retention of communication data. Not even a year later, the big coalition argued for the implementation of a respective EU Directive in February 2006 for the first time.
We appeal to all members of the parties SPD, CDU and CSU -- especially those who are members of parliaments -- to sign the following plea to call on the governance to intermit the enforcement of complete storage of traffic data of every single German citizen.
