Introduction
The European Union and the United States have been negotiating the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) since June 2013. This massive trade agreement could affect a multitude of sectors and industries, from chemicals to agriculture to the digital sphere, including the telecoms industry and e-commerce. The deal being made — behind closed doors — is threatening our basic digital rights.
In this workshop, we will look into the potential threats this trade deal could pose to digital rights.
