The Action day in September 2008
In September 2008 we call for a european-wide action day in as many european capital cities, as possible, to demonstrate against the total retention of telecommunication and other instruments of surveillance. We qould like to recall the rememberance of the historical achievement of civil rights and liberties as a heritage of the Age of Enlightenment and to support the trust into security in our free society.

Action planning
You city is not listed? No problem! Übernimm einfach die Koordination und Organisation in deiner Stadt - wenn du Hilfe brauchst: kontaktiere das Pressebüro oder schicke eine E-Mail an kontakt[at]vorratsdatenspeicherung.de, wir vermitteln den Kontakt zu anderen Leuten und/oder Organisationen NGOs in deiner Stadt. Bitte seht davon ab, ganze Regionen zusammenzufassen - Punkten können wir mit möglichst vielen kleinen Aktionen an möglichst vielen Orten.
Hinweis: Auf jeder Stadtseite soll je ein/e Zuständige/r mit Kontaktdaten benannt sein, um die Organisation und Pressearbeit zu erleichtern. Diese sollten sich auch in die National contacts for the press eintragen, vielen Dank!
In Berlin steht zur Koordination und für die Pressearbeit das Pressebüro zur Verfügung (hier finden sich auch Vorlagen zum Anschreiben von Unterstützern und Presse), in jeder Stadt soll je ein/e Zuständige/r für die Pressearbeit benannt und National contacts|enter it here werden. Außerdem findet sich immer jemand im Chat des AK-Vorrat, um zu helfen: Chat.
Die Organisation ist denkbar einfach:
- Informationen und Tipps zur Demo-Organisation für AK-Aktivisten, befreundete Organisationen und Unterstützer, die sich direkt beteiligen möchten
