The Action day in September 2008
In September 2008 we call for a european-wide action day in as many european capital cities, as possible, to demonstrate against the total retention of telecommunication and other instruments of surveillance. We qould like to recall the rememberance of the historical achievement of civil rights and liberties as a heritage of the Age of Enlightenment and to support the trust into security in our free society.

Action planning
You city is not listed? No problem! Take responsibility for the coordination and organisation in your city - If you need help: Contact the press office or send an email to kontakt[at]vorratsdatenspeicherung.de. We will arrange contact to other people and/or organisations, as well as NGOs in your town. Please refrain from merging whole regions - We can score by starting as many small actions at as many places as possible.
Note: One person responsible should be named with contact details on every citypage to ease organisation and press relation. Those people should also sign up at national contacts for the press, thank you! For coordination and press relation in Berlin the press office is available (here you can also find templates to contact supporters and media). There should be one responsible contact for press work for every city which should be entered here (national contacts). Also, there are always people of the AK Vorrat to be found in the chat to help.

- Informations and hints about organizing demonstrations for AK-activists, befriended organisations and supporters, who want to participate directly
