Since then we have been invited to a [http://www.cpdp.be/SideEvents.html#top pre-CPDP event organised by the CPDP Programme Cttee] at the Microsoft office on Tuesday, 21st Jan. The aim of this event is apparently, if not explicitly, how to better integrate the views of civil society in coming years into the CPDP conference, which has traditionally been more academic in focus. Since then we have been invited to a [http://www.cpdp.be/SideEvents.html#top pre-CPDP event organised by CPDP, Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Law, Science, Technology & Society Studies), EDRi, Access and the Panoptykon Foundation] at the Microsoft office on Tuesday, 21st Jan. The aim of this UNCAMP is to "bring together privacy advocates and members of NGOs to discuss privacy protections and surveillance methods in a digital age and develop strategies to address the key challenges."
