International Campaign

From Freiheit statt Angst!

This page is ment to coordinate the cooperation with international NGOs and national campaigns against data retention laws based on EU-Directive 2006/24/EC.

The "Arbeitskreis Vorratsdatenspeicherung" (short: AK Vorrat) may help translating their material, sharing documents and knowhow etc.

The coordination may take place using the EDRi-Mailinglist. Also, the Wiki of the campaign "Data Retention Is No Solution" may be used.

We may also plan an international meeting to talk about strategies, but this may be too expensive.

Tony Bunyan from Statewatch.org is calling for all materials regarding the EU directive and national laws - in english, please!

Switzerland is not EU, but actually is planning a national law on data retention.
