General information.

If you're staying a couple of days, it often makes sense to buy one ticket with 10 journeys. You find information on ticket prices here and some general information on the webite of the public transport system.

Bike

Good and fast.

There are 180 Villo! stations all over the city where you can rent a bike - it's quick and easy!

Car

Sometimes impossible to find any place for parking ...

Bus

You can find timetables and maps on the official website of the Brussels public transport company STIB.

You can find a complete network map here (pdf)

Tram

The Brussels Tram moves overground.

Metro

There are four underground or "metro" lines in Brussels.

You can find the timetables here and the map over here.

Big solution

Free-accomodation-bxl.png

We are happy being able to offer some room for a simple accomodation!

The place is 1 min. walking distance to a station with trains going straight to the European parliament and the central station in Brussels.

The problem is that it is also a working space so we should:

  • avoid a mess
  • leave on Monday morning
  • bring our own sleeping bags/mats
  • either go to a swimming pool on Sunday morning or get used to not shower at all for three days (http://bruxelles-piscines-index.blogspot.com/)
  • limit the place to 20 people.
