Evaluation of the EU directive on Telecommunication Data Retention

After the Implementation of the EU-Directive in 2005, the first evalution is planned in 2011. This might be the last chance to repeal the directive.

march 2011: publication shadow report EDRi
march 2011: publication evaluation report Commission
march 2011: official start impact assessment by the Commission of various policy options (has already started behind the scenes some time ago - which is insane because the conclusions of the evaluations are still to be determined. But that's Brussels...)
± June 2011: publication impact assessment and proposal for amending directive by Commission (wild estimate)
From there onwards: European Parliament and European Council (member states) co-decision procedure, which leads to a final result.
