Local, neutral and community-run ISPs vs. monopolistic operators was a workshop held by KheOps and Bram during Freedom Not Fear 2014.
It presented the idea of local and non-profit ISPs as players engaged in favor of network neutrality, and why it is difficult for them to actually start being operators in Europe due to the monopoly of big historical operators. It finally aimed at brainstorming ideas about what can be done at the EU-level to improve free competition and encourage such local initiatives.
